Channel Marketing Manager

LightCyber is quickly rising to lead the new frontier of security in solving the crisis of targeted data breaches facing companies and organizations around the world. We have pioneered Active Breach Detection to shift more focus from exclusively preventative security to detection. Gartner predicts that 60% of security spending will shift from prevention to "rapid detection and response" by 2019. Join our growing team at the ground floor.

We are looking for a Channel Marketing Manager who will be responsible for developing, executing and measuring marketing plans and lead-generation programs for a rapidly-growing number of channel partners. This new position will build all aspects of joint partner programs to include events, online programs, awareness campaigns, promotions, and follow-up actions for these activities. They will help define requirements for partner sales tools, partner communications, and partner training, and lead the process in developing and managing the partner portal.

The Channel Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving the strategy and execution needed to support the revenue goals of each sales region, beginning in the United States but building into EMEA in 2016. They will need to work closely with our regional field marketing and sales organizations to understand the needs, define priorities, develop and execute channel marketing programs and processes as needed. This position reports to the Director of Marketing Communications.

Major Responsibilities:

The Channel Marketing Manager will be both strategic and tactical, with a range of roles and responsibilities including administering the partner portal, managing the field marketing budget, building channel programs/campaigns, and defining and measuring program objectives and goals.

Duties:

• Work with marketing and sales teams to develop a channel partner marketing strategic plan with pre-defined metrics; prepare and present reports on a regular basis that tracks activities and ROI.

• Responsible for channel partner on-boarding process including collecting fully-executed agreements or NDAs, distributing Welcome Kit, and updating SFDC.

• Develop and updating partner welcome kit materials and communication programs.

• Manage channel partner systems: deal registration processes, online portal, etc.

• Align channel marketing strategies with corporate brand strategies and work closely with Marketing Communications to ensure a balanced marketing effort.

• Analyze and report progress against campaign goals and report on ROI.

• Maintain partner communications calendar, and specific regional calendars of partner activities.

• Schedule/coordinate monthly training webinars for sales and technical personnel.

• Work closely with Corporate Marketing/Product Marketing Managers to be aware of product new/updated presentations, trade shows, research and competitive intelligence.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of channel marketing experience, preferably in a high technology security environment.

• Startup experience building out a channel marketing program is a plus.

• Excellent communications skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple roles and responsibilities, and be a strong team player.

• Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills.

• Power SFDC user, with emphasis on reporting and analytics, and experience working with and/or implementing channel partner portal.

• Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
