Description

The ideal candidate for North America Field Marketing Director will be a high-energy, detail and results-oriented individual with in-depth experience in cross-functional program design, implementation and management for a variety of integrated marketing programs across a diverse set of vertical and horizontal markets in North America.



The North America Field Marketing Director will interact directly with the field and Inside Sales teams to support pre-sales efforts by designing high impact go-to-market strategies, campaigns and initiatives. The North America Field Marketing Director will work closely with the rest of the marketing team to translate global company and campaign level objectives into actionable marketing strategies, recommendations and plans for high-yield pipeline growth. Responsibilities include designing, planning, managing and tracking results for a variety of integrated marketing programs. These programs include, but are not limited to, webinars, email and direct mail campaigns, tradeshows, online marketing programs, and events with the goal of generating awareness and quality leads and opportunities for Sales. The candidate will use experience to deploy the most appropriate marketing programs for maximum results.



Responsibilities

Planning – Design innovative programs to generate leads and awareness of SugarCRM across horizontal and vertical markets in North America. Planning includes designing and executing the best programs to meet specific goals, budgeting, developing timelines, and evangelizing ideas to stakeholders.

Execution – Oversee demand generation programs from concept through development, including sourcing lists, drafting promo copy, obtaining approvals, assigning tasks and managing schedules.

Defining and tracking North America promotional program plans, calendar and budget in conjunction with Global Marketing.

Monitoring and improving the marketing strategies according to the performance of each program by identifying best practices, managing collateral and liaising with all relevant functional business groups.



Qualifications

Deliver extraordinary customer relationships

BA/BS

Minimum of 8-10 years experience managing a variety of marketing programs—ideal candidate would have demand generation, field marketing and B2B enterprise software marketing experience.

Excellent program manager, able to implement a program from start to finish and follow through with results tracking and reporting

Experience developing and implementing a variety of marketing programs with proven success

Experience managing external vendors/agencies

Analytical and strategic skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Respect and expect accountability
