Scope of Work.
The scope of work to be performed by the successful respondent ("Contractor") includes the following:
Develop new .Net web applications.
Enhance existing .Net web applications.
Provide maintenance and support for .Net applications as needed.
Provide project leadership.
Develop and/or enhance project and technical documentation.
Work with State staff to mentor them in .Net development skills.
Other duties as assigned.
a. Required Skills
1) Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with technical and user staff
2) Demonstrated experience with developing database driven web-based applications
3) Demonstrated experience with developing database driven applications in a Microsoft Visual Studio.Net environment with C#
4) Demonstrated experience with Microsoft SQL Server through 2008
5) Demonstrated experience with object-oriented development techniques
6) Demonstrated experience 3-tier logical/physical architected applications
7) Demonstrated experience working with users to gather and document business requirements
b. Preferred Skills
1) Demonstrated experience with Oracle
2) Demonstrated experience with Project Management and MS Project
3) Demonstrated experience with automated unit testing
4) Familiarity with DFS security and information technology related procedures
