This position is perfect for the creative professional as it encompasses a wide range of skills across a wide range of media. The creative services we offer clients include but are not limited to:
Web Design (The Focus)
Brand Creation and Strategy (Identity, Logo, etc)
Print Design (Brochures, Letterhead Business Cards, Rack Cards, etc.)
Package Design
Specifically, the graphic designer will develop visual design concepts, collaborate with other designers and managers to refine the ideas, present his/her work to clients independently, participate in critiques, and contribute towards the organization's goals to create a high-end product that meets the clients needs.
Duties Responsibilities
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Understand the ever-changing world of UI/UX and how that relates to their projects
Work closely with the existing project manager and account manager to develop accurate cost estimates and project timetables
Will be expected to monitor actual progress so that the company will meet cost and timeline goals.
Meet with the client to obtain/extract a creative brief
Create needed artwork, and review with others
Prepare and present artwork to client for review
Properly prepare and organize all creative assets for the next stage of the process (printing, development, or archiving)
It is expected that this person update personal knowledge and connections by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks.
Skills Requirements
Several years of experience
Excellent Design Skills, illustrated with an online portfolio (and possibly physical as well)
Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign (Adobe Creative Suite)
Able to retouch photography at a concept level
Able to collaborate with teams to plan, analyze, organize and execute projects
Able to communicate with and manage multiple clients and projects at the same time
Strong attention to detail
Windows OS
We need this person to be able to work out of our Healdsburg office full time and the position is open only to regular employees (not sub-contractors.)
Existing Clients and Non-Competition
We understand that you may have existing clients for whom you currently do work and we are open to creative methods to manage this possibility. It is important for our employees to understand that they represent Kreck Design in the community beyond the strict workweek and any unfortunate confusion is avoided as much as possible.

Kreck Design is located in Healdsburg, Sonoma County, California. Healdsburg is the perfect blend of small town charm and a world-class destination showcasing spectacular wine, cuisine, art and shopping. When staying close to home, the town of Healdsburg has eight+ markets from a Safeway supermarket to farmer's market to organic and Latino specialty markets. It also has a wide range of specialty stores including a cheese shop, two bakeries, a cigar and craft brews and dozens of others. The schools are well regarded and there are many options from public, public charter, and private available. For those that like to get out of town, we are only 1 hour north of the golden gate bridge, 30 minutes south of the redwoods, 30 minutes east of the pacific ocean, and 2 hours from the ski slopes. Sonoma County has a wide variety of hiking and bike trails and other actives for the active professional.

Salary
The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $85,000 per plus benefits that are typically worth approximately $10,000 - $15,000 per year. Actual salary offered is based upon skills and experience. Please provide salary requirements and basic salary history.
