We are looking for an experienced Online Community Program Manager position for a six month contract position at Global High Technology Company in the South Bay. The Online Community Program Manager will report to the Social Communications Manager and support the Company´s Academy and Corporate Marketing and Communications teams. The Online Community Program Manager will project manage a new marketing effort targeting technical professionals and will oversee the online presence of the initiative, managing the online technical community of registered users, partners and customers, and develop unique content for the online community.

Job Functions

1. Project manage the overall marketing effort in support of expanding the Certified Professional online community, working with key internal stakeholders to execute on the strategy.
2. Set up primary community accounts; assist in the development of the overall external community strategy for the company.
3. Monitor and be active in understanding what customers, partners and other members of the Company´s technical community are saying both in external websites and the corporate community.
4. Establish positive relationships with community members by engaging in dialogue both in online and offline settings.
5. Moderate and organize the corporate technical community. Mediate disputes within the community.
6. Contribute to and regularly update external social sites: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other community sites. Develop content calendar in coordination with the overall corporate strategy and calendar for these sites.

Primary Qualifications

1. BA/BS degree
2. 5+ years experience in managing projects, technical online communities or any other online social site.
3. Experience with high-stakes certification program development and/or marketing.
4. Adequate technical understanding of enterprise information systems.
5. Familiarity and experience using the primary tools of communication, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, forums, blogs, podcasts, Jive, as well as the language and jargon used in the community.
6. Organizational skills to keep track of concurrent projects and activity threads, manage the continuous demand for content updates in the various online channels, and operate this in a global environment where the community never sleeps.

This is a 40 hour per week assignment, on-site project at the client's offices in the South Bay. This is a w2 role with Stage 4 Solutions.
