Sales Executive for worldwide leader in the field of secure technologies
Position based in Chantilly, VA; will relo a Star candidate
Summary:
This direct sales role is responsible for growing the revenue stream within the healthcare markets (hospitals, medical centers, etc.). The position works proactively with Systems Integrators, Fortune 1000 and channel sales partners to highlight our client's capabilities in the smart card business arena. The position utilizes independent initiative, internal resources, customer knowledge and teamwork to ensure our client grows its market leading position. The position continually provides input and participates in the marketing, market planning and technical development that result in top line revenue growth. This position requires an individual who has significant diplomatic skills and has experience in developing VAR relationships in a start up environment. Significant US travel.
Responsibilities:
o Sell products and services to Fortune 1000 community, focused in the healthcare vertical
o Sell products and services to VAR channels in the healthcare market
o Develop best of breed partnerships
o Promote new value added services offerings within the market space
o Manage account base effectively and develop strategies and key account plans to ensure our client is the company of choice for smart card products and services
o Acquire dominant market share with existing and new account prospects
o Interact with Marketing, Technical Services and Engineering to further refine and enhance product and service offerings
o Coordinate closely with Technical Marketing Director to ensure proactive understanding of customer requirements
o Interact with Customer Service to ensure they maintain a 'Best in Class' reputation for customer delivery
o Maintain a leading edge in market intelligence and competitive trends
o Meet or exceed defined sales quota
Qualifications:
o 7 plus years' experience selling in the Identification Market space with 3-7 years in selling technology based solutions
o 7 Plus years' experience working with Fortune 1000 and software community at a senior level
o Proven ability to establish and grow a US-based VAR program
o Successful track record in new business development and large contract acquisition
o Knowledge of the Identification and Smart Card business is preferred
o Exceptional resourcefulness in gathering market intelligence; superior lateral thinking skills
o Experience working with a culturally diverse, global organization
o College degree
