Position: Cicso Network Admin
Duration: 3 mo +,
Location: IOWA,
Rate: $45/hr rate.
The successful candidate must meet the requirements and possess the experience and capabilities listed below:
* Able to start immediately.
* A work history demonstrating strong customer service skills and excellent work ethic behaviors.
* Must have full time technical experience with complex network environments and firewall support to include data network implementation, maintenance, analysis and support using Cisco family of data networking products.
* Thorough working knowledge of network fundamentals including IP networking, topologies and security concepts.
Skills must include network switching, routing, IP addressing, Internet connectivity and security techniques.
* Experience with advanced diagnostics equipment and tools, routing protocols, network management tools, remote access, Ethernet, and WAN technologies.
* Strong preference for Unix scripting skills (e.g. Perl, Bash, TCL cURL), Apache HTTP server, Unix/Linux OS.
* This position requires superior analytical and problem solving and project management skills, and the ability to apply these skills to deliver quality customer services.
* Ability to work and communicate with management, co-workers and customers.
* Ability to lift computer equipment (less than 50 lbs.), boxes containing products to be installed or documentation and other materials related to system support.
* Ability to travel to customer and/or equipment sites (greater DM area).
* Ability to complete assignments timely and submit weekly status reports indicating progress on assigned tasks, performance against assigned project due dates, and identification and suggested resolution for issues having a potential to adversely impact performance and/or the project.
* Shall maintain a positive working relationship with coworkers, supervisors and customers and present a positive team environment and customer focus.
* Shall adhere to DAS ITE work rules.
