.NET Developer (ASP.NET) ** This is a 6 month contract located in Southern California ** Job Responsibilities:
The candidate filling this position will be an experienced .NET developer who will assume a role as a key contributor to the Digital Content Delivery development effort. This individual will be expected to quickly build an understanding of the architecture and implementation of the current in house systems as well as follow the team's development procedures and best practices. The candidate will then be expected to leverage his or her experience and technical knowledge to implement industry leading solutions that support aggressive timelines for top tier entertainment partners. Job Requirements:
• .NET Framework – in-depth expert knowledge of the core framework and APIs (3.0 and 3.5 included; with 4.0 a plus)
• ASP.NET – 4+ years' experience
• WCF – 2+ years' experience developing services and expert knowledge of all main bindings and their pros/cons
• WF – 2+ years of experience building workflows, workflow runtime services and knowledge of workflow event model as well as versioning, persistence and tracking mechanisms
• MS Enterprise Library – 3+ years of experience with Caching, Logging, Exception and other blocks.
• Knowledge of Design Patterns and their applications – 5+ years' experience.
• SQL Server 2005 – 5+ years of experience with writing Stored Procedures, Views, creating data conversion scripts and maintenance plans.
• DevExpress – experience is a big plus
• SSRS and SSIS – experience desired (Reports and Integration Services – Interface feeds) but not required.
• SharePoint –experience desired but not required.
