Sr Software Engineer ( prefer local candidates) Significant experience in distributed systems, multi-threaded applications, and C++ or server side Java
Responsibilities:
Work with a creative, high-energy, and collaborative team to develop
innovative crime-fighting products (Yes∑ this is very cool work)
Constantly work to achieve higher and higher standards of quality
Work within the agile software development process
Take direction and smartly build on it
Be passionate about finding innovative methods for fighting bad guys online
Skills
Ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in software
development and ideally comes from a top tier academic background
Must be intelligent and creative, and appreciate creativity from others
Individual must have superb coding skills C++
Background working with either Unix or Linux is essential for this role
Experience in multi-threaded, distributed, systems is also a key
element for this role
Strong TCP/IP, HTTP skills are a plus
Strong self-starter with a desire to truly make a difference
Proven track record of accomplishments in their career
Must be flexible and adaptable to change
