| In this position, the individual will act as part of an interdisciplinary design studio that provides versatile design services to the Software and Solutions group (SAS) at SanDisk. Act as an advocate for the end user. Create annotated wireframes, use cases, scenarios, interactive prototypes, storyboards, and design specifications for new features on software applications. Consistently deliver strong creative PC, website and mobile concepts. Collaborate with content strategists, front-end developers, programmers, information architects, and project managers to develop the user interface for new products as well as improvements and additions to existing products, based on business objectives, metrics and usability studies. Design user interfaces for desktop, tablet and mobile devices software applications. This position requires a Bachelors degree in Interaction or Interface design, or comparable professional experience required. Have a strong understanding of user-centered design and navigation structures. Have the ability to write and maintain detailed functional specification documentation for the software UI design projects. Stay up to date in current and emerging web and mobile technologies, industry standards, developing trends, and design best practices, and apply them to software applications user interface. Knowledge of the Internet, Internet Technologies, web development processes & tools and web production. Familiar with iOS, Android operating systems, mac and PC. Ability to present designs and concepts to stakeholders.
