The consultant, reporting to one of our senior lead consultants, will work on a project team to deliver outstanding results to the executive team of our technology clients.
We are seeking an MBA graduate or current student with outstanding analytic skills and a passion for developing the analyses that drive business growth strategy and go-to-market planning. Familiarity with the following analyses preferred: market assessment and sizing, buyer profiling and segmentation, competitive analysis, and/or sales target optimization.
This individual will have deep data analytic skills (e.g., Excel VLookup, Pivots), strong PowerPoint and communication capabilities, and the ability to present findings to top executives. This is a hands-on position best suited for a person who is a self-starter and thrives in an entrepreneurial environment. Preferably, the individual has 2-5 years experience working for technology companies, in particular in a B2B (business-to-business) market.
Job Responsibilities
• Support lead consultant to deliver high quality, kick-ass deliverables to clients that make an impact on their business
• Develop quantitative data models in Excel: merge large data sets, develop financial and other models, and communicate to senior lead consultant relevant findings for market assessment, buyer segmentation, sales target optimization, etc.
• Develop effective slide presentations that communicate findings in a compelling way
• Assist senior lead consultant on developing client deliverables, including quantitative analyses, company positioning stories, sales force messaging guides
• Document Firebrick IP and develop standardized processes for data collection feedback and ongoing iterative/improvement
Qualifications
• MBA graduate or current student
• Deep data analytic skills including Excel VLookup, If Statements, Pivot tables
• Strong writing and presentation skills. Able to communicate analysis through PowerPoint with good presentation skills
• Entrepreneurial thinker and risk-taker – individual does not need defined process to contribute
• Ability to be self-motivated and deliver projects on time with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated success working in cross-functional teams and working collaboratively with individuals outside of one's immediate team (e.g., clients)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
• 2-5 years of experience in B2B tech SaaS/software marketing, products and/or sales (preferred)
