A hot emerging company in the wireless networking space is seeking a PR manager. The PR manager will work very closely with the VP of corporate marketing and the product marketing team to:
- set strategy and messaging
- manage product launches and other key initiatives
- create and implement PR campaigns (working alongside product marketing), including analyst/media outreach, social media, video, web content, etc.
- oversee tactical components of PR programs such as awards and speaking opportunities, press releases, case studies, and other lead generation-related activities
- manage customer referencing program
- work with international marketing directors to oversee international PR programs (handled by regional PR agencies)
- work with web team to ensure content and messaging are reflected and updated
PR manager will have support from an internal team member as well as an outside contractor - no PR agency is being used.
Requirements:
- 10+ years tech PR experience, in-house preferred.
- must have a proven track record of being proactive and aggressive with media, as well as with moving projects along.
- must be able to juggle multiple tasks.
- must be creative, flexible, and able to buck convention, and synch up and communicate plans clearly with
key internal team members.
- BA or BS degree.
