[KITlist] Director of Credit (San Francisco - Presidio, CA)

Position Summary:
RSF Social Finance seeks to hire a full-time Director of Credit. The Director provides leadership to the Loan Operations team and is responsible for the following:
A. Oversight of the credit approval process and assurance of compliance (or proper notification of non-compliance) with existing policy
B. Working with the Director of Lending to ensure client engagement and customer service requirements are being met
C. Working with the Director of Lending and the business development team to ensure timely, consistent, and complete communication between the teams
D. Management of the Loan Operations team
E. Detection of deterioration in loan quality, and monitoring and resolution of problem loans
F. Delivery of reports detailing the quality and composition of the loan portfolio, the quality of client service, and social impact

Key Experience and Qualifications Include:
• Demonstrated skill in underwriting commercial loans small-to-medium-sized small businesses, preferably including to non-profits and/or social enterprises
• Progressive experience over the course of 12+ years in, or providing support to, a Credit Officer role for a bank, credit union, or similar financial institution
• Experience leading a team in some or all aspects of loan operations
• Demonstrated supervisorial skills
• Passion for RSF's mission and work
