Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking an Integrated MarCom/Demand Generation Event Campaign Manager for a project based assignment for one of our technology clients in Santa Clara, CA.

The Event Campaign Manager will own the design, development and execution of a variety of online/offline marketing communication programs including web, social media, email, and video. The Event Campaign Manager will be a strong, well rounded marketing communications professional with strong demand generation experience, who is both strategic and tactical and accustomed to working in a fast paced, results-oriented, customer-centric environment. They will be resourceful, enthusiastic, high-energy and creative with a demonstrated ability to drive measurable results. He/she will be responsible for the overall audience acquisition programs and their associated target/list strategies that will encompass the strategic as well as deliverable components to acquire the assigned target audience for the client's large user developer conference in 2015. He/she will be using Marketo as part of their ongoing campaign program development and analysis tool. They will be a creative person with natural leadership qualities, possessing a strong ability to drive, project manage and coordinate a wide range of initiatives. The Event Campaign Manager will bring their solid, recent experience in creating audience acquisition demand generation, promotional, and event program experience for large scale conference and event programs. He/she will partner with the internal Marcom team to define overall audience acquisition program objectives, communication strategies, and programs to support the overall goals set for the conference. He/she will also implement and deliver against the strategies and tactics. This includes coordination and development of demand generation content, assets and offers that build a customer journey. Specific responsibilities include: Lead the integrated marketing communication strategy and drive demand gen/MarCom deliverables for acquiring targeted attendees to the annual corporate conference Drive development of the strategic audience acquisition plan including: objectives and strategy, attendee profile, audience acquisition strategy, and internal and external communications plans ensuring alignment with corporate and brand objectives Develop audience acquisition program success metrics and provide tracking mechanisms, analysis and course corrections throughout programs Manage target audience research, analysis, definition by segmentation, audience acquisition strategy development and implementation to goals Define the event attendee "journey", defining and coordinating messages and offers that systematically move attendees down the marketing funnel in support of the plan Drive multiple, concurrent demand generation campaigns from strategy definition to tactical execution Pull data/manage lists and/or interface with other team members for database management relating to demand generation campaigns Track and roll up campaign metrics to senior management Providing feedback to drive demand generation best practices Skills: Solid demand generation, email, direct, contact centers, data base/lists experience. Expert in demand generation best practices; ability to create the right mix of reinforcing campaigns and clearly communicate rationale with other teams Experience using Marketo as a campaign management solution to track, measure and report on marketing performance Proven ability to integrate all pertinent elements of a cohesive campaign to produce high impact, scalable and repeatable results: segmentation, drive significant uplift in online conversion rates and capture new customers Creative thinker, very-flexible and adaptable, open to new ideas and confident in bringing ideas to the table. Strong communications skills: verbal/public speaking, written, presentations Strategic, creative and business minded while ensuring strong delivery/execution results Self-driven, pro-active, goal-oriented individual RATE: D.O.E., as W-2 employee of Crawford Group; benefits available LOCATION: Onsite at client's headquarters in Santa Clara, CA.
