CIBER is searching for a developer to work on a business analytics tool for a third party software package. The tool is used to create reports on business performance, configure dashboards for monitoring conditions and the establishment of alerts to signal events using the pre-packaged analytics. The developer will be expected to map source data to the analytics data warehouse using Informatica PowerCenter (v 7.1.2). In addition, the developer will be expected to become familiar with the process of extending and customizing the analytic data warehouse environment and will work with the analytics tools to create and modify metrics for reporting. It is preferred that candidate has knowledge of data warehouses and business intelligence tools such as OBIEE and Cognos.
- Bachelors Degree
- 5-7 years experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability make decisions effectively and to meet targeted deadlines with minimal supervision.
Desired Skills:
- Informatica, Oracle 10g, and SQL coding
- Data Warehouse Database Design Concepts, Data Modeling
- TOAD
- OBIEE and/or COGNOS
- Clearcase, Clearquest
- WebLogic application server
- Ability to perform analysis and design for software using industry standard modeling tools.
- Proficient in the use of software development tools and techniques in software projects (including use of integrated development environments, profilers, debuggers and performance monitoring tools related to the architects' core area of expertise).
- Knowledge of cross-platform design and development experience
