Start date 6/13/2011 - End date 7/29/2011 Location: Milwaukee, WI Project Scope Evaluation of Informatica's Change Data Capture (CDC) method for intraday loading of DB2 data into Teradata Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). Informatica Power Exchange Developer Required experience: • Change Data Capture (CDC) method for intraday data loading into an enterprise-level data warehouse • Informatica Power Exchange version 8.x and 9.x, including CDC and it's components: Listener, Logger, and ECCR • Using DB2 source tables and DB2 logger to capture DB2 changes • Experienced with large tables (>500M rows) with a large number of daily updates and occasional mass updates • Generally – experienced with ELT methods using batch and intraday data loading to an enterprise-level data warehouse, with Power Exchange and Power Center • Specifically – experienced in analysis, design, development, and testing all phases of ELT using Informatica's Power Exchange and CDC technologies • Experienced with analysis, design, and testing to ensure referential integrity (RI) regarding parent-child data relationships for intraday data loading in the EDW • Experienced working with a cross-functional team including application development, infrastructure, and multiple vendor resources Desired: • Familiarity with ELT to Teradata EDW target tables • Experienced with data aggregation of records in the data warehouse, including time-stamping of changes and unit-of-work relationships • Using Oracle data sources and logging with CDC methods Please let me know if you would need any further information.
