The Talent Technology Consultant is responsible for maintaining in depth knowledge of the Talent software market and utilizing that knowledge in order to fulfill the following responsibilities:
Evaluate and expand Aon Hewitt's go to market strategy regarding Talent software providers
Maintain deep relationships with Aon Hewitt's existing providers including understanding and influencing product roadmaps
Partner with Strategic Sourcing and IT to manage the overall provider relationships representing the business / market perspective
Facilitate bringing product understanding and knowledge to the organization and to our clients
Work in a consultative manner with clients regarding the state of the market and various market options
Consult with the sales and solutions team on HR BPO pursuits which involve Talent solutions
Assist in defining integration strategies across the various process areas
Deliver periodic presentations via client forums to present Aon Hewitt's market views
Requires the following:
Specific Talent domain expertise in the areas of Learning, Performance Management and Succession Planning. Desired peripheral knowledge in Compensation and Recruiting.
Ability to work collaboratively with strategic suppliers and enhance the relationships with Aon Hewitt and our clients.
Ability to apply talent technology expertise in a consultative sales and solutioning process
Knowledge of Talent SaaS products such as SuccessFactors, Taleo and Saba
Qualifications
Deep Talent Process and Technology background; general knowledge of interfacing areas including Compensation, Learning and Recruiting.
Client facing presentation and consultative skills
Good conceptual thinker
Analytical with excellent attention to detail
Ability to clearly articulate thoughts and solutions
Excellent written and oral communication skills and proven experience.
HR lifecycle implementation experience
Understanding of application architecture and integration
General understanding of deal model financials
Knowledge of HR or HR-ERP solutions
Deep technical experience not required; working knowledge required
Ability to quickly understand the Aon Hewitt solution model and ongoing operations
Prior outsourcing experience desired
4 year degree in related field
