Sr. Software Engineer
Looking for motivated, experienced engineers to play a key role in developing and evolving our high speed back-end server software. Our mailbox server is highly scalable and written entirely in Java. The successful candidate will take ownership of one or multiple areas the server, from implementing new features or even re-architecting core components to fixing bugs and handling support escalations.
Requirements:
* 8 or more years of server software development experience, preferably in Java * Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering enterprise or carrier grade systems to market * Extensive experience in developing vertically/horizontally scalable and available distributed systems under Linux required * Deep knowledge and experience with network programming and protocols such as: TCP/IP, sockets, LDAP, HTTP, SMTP, IMAP, POP and SOAP * Hands on experience in database schema and query design * Experience in developing messaging, collaboration, or information retrieval systems strongly desired * Experience in memcached/NoSQL is also desired * Experience in security models a plus * A strong "can-do" attitude and willingness to work in a highly energetic environment is also a must * BS in CS or related focus or applicable industry experience is required
