[KITlist] Marketing and Events Coordinator (Palo Alto, CA)

This position offers a great opportunity to join a dynamic marketing team. Your energy, creative mind and top notch organizational skills as the Marketing and Events Coordinator for Benetech literacy programs, in particular for Bookshare, will keep our organization running smoothly. You'll plan our major conferences and coordinate smaller regional conferences. You'll assist with all our outbound communications and webinars, learning a lot about marketing communications in the process. With your top notch planning and execution, you'll be a key member of motivated team working to make a difference!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Coordinate all trade show logistics, including registrations, staffing, collateral, shipping, and lodging for multiple tradeshows and conferences
* Plan activities for trade shows
* Track and prepare reports on all event activity and expenditures
* Provide team with conference schedules and plans
* Assist with webinar scheduling and follow up
* Respond to salesforce inquiries and pull reports
* Integrate new leads into salesforce
* Send email communications in collaboration with program managers and provide reports on results
* Maintain a master calendar of Bookshare activities
* Manage print and tchotchke vendor relationships; track expenditures

Qualifications

* 1 or more years of trade show management
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
* Familiarity with salesforce and online emarketing programs, such as Vertical Response
* Solid written and oral communications
* Solid technology skills
* Passion for making a difference
