Our client has built one of the most sought after recruiting environments in today's global market. We have an immediate contract opportunity available for a non-technical sourcer. This position will run through the end of the year and will be onsite in New York, NY.

Our client is looking for an experienced Sourcer to proactively identify and assess talent. The web is shifting from a vast encyclopedia of information to a social environment that reflects our real identities and the relationships and information we care about. Our client is at the forefront of that change. We're looking for dynamic people who get excited by big questions and hard problems. This role will support a small team of recruiters with the objective of increasing the candidate pipeline through assessing qualifications and discussing appropriate job opportunities. Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the Recruiters to develop and execute tactical sourcing strategies aimed at generating candidate flow to meet overall recruiting goals
• Identify potential candidates through the internal resume database, candidate referrals, networking, and web sourcing
• Call, screen and qualify candidates and assist them through the recruitment process.
• Act as an internally and externally-facing representative of our client and their talent acquisition team.
Requirements :
• 2-5 years sourcing experience for a search firm or in-house recruiting team
• Passionate and able to speak to our client's technology/industry; Exceptional interviewing, communication, organizational and problem solving skills
• Ability to maintain strong relationships with recruiters, business partners and candidates; Strong business acumen to be able to comprehend business needs and structure
• BA/BS degree with emphasis in HR or equivalent; Interest in contributing to mission and goals
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed; Internet, Media and/or Technology Industry experience supporting Sales and Engineering organizations is preferred, but not required.
