PHI is seeking a full time Inventory/Materials Control Analyst for the Network for a Healthy California (Network). This position is located in Sacramento, CA.

Under the supervision of the Marketing Manager II, Publications, and general direction of the Health Program Specialist II, manager of the Communications Program (Communications and Media Team) the Inventory/Materials Control Analyst assists with coordination of materials and nutrition education reinforcement items available through the Network for a Healthy California's (Network) Online Ordering and Cost Recovery Systems. As part of the Network's Communications and Media Team, the Inventory/Materials Control Analyst is responsible for maintaining and updating complex material allotment spreadsheets; development of distribution schedules for Network partners, oversight of the Network warehouse, including the online ordering and cost recovery systems, inventory, distribution and customer fulfillment program, developing reports and initiating reorders as necessary.


Duties & Responsibilities:


Maintains and monitors online ordering and cost recovery systems, warehouse functions, inventory, distribution, and customer fulfillment programs.
Develops, maintains and inputs the data entry of complex allotment spreadsheets and reports for print and promotional material for all Network-funded projects. Works with the Marketing Specialist IV to generate inventory, allotment, usage, and other related activity reports, assures adequate material volume, and makes requests for material reorders as necessary. Circulates reports to key staff as directed.
Monitors, responds, and tracks all communications and requests received through the customer service email account. Develops and conducts surveys to identify areas of improvement to ensure online ordering and cost recovery systems, allotment schedules, and inventory distribution are meeting the needs of Network-funded projects. Identifies the need for upgrades to the system(s).
Contributes to discussions on warehouse and customer fulfillment contracting activities, including scopes of work, contractor selection, budgets, schedules, reporting and performance assessments. Maintains internal literature area – cataloging and organizing onsite materials.
May serve on the Network Materials Development Workgroup, contributing to decisions on the print and promotional materials to be produced, refined or phased out; contributes to surveys designed to assess the need for and efficacy of print and promotional materials.
Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:


Bachelors degree in business, marketing/communications, health promotion/education or related field.
Minimum 3 years experience in scheduling and revising shipment plans to ensure efficient distribution, analyzing inventory levels, distribution plans and material availity/demand to determine reorder levels
Exceptional Excel and database skills (use of V-Lookup and downloading queries into spreadsheets perferred)
Strong project tracking and organizational skills.
High level analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills, with ability to meet deadlines, both prescribed and self-imposed.
Ability to communicate and establish effective working relationships with diverse groups, and interact effectively with co-workers, personnel in partner agencies, and other external stakeholders.

This is an exempt position and the salary is commensurate with experience.
