Title: Marcom Marketing Manager
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 12+ months
Ideal candidate will be a self-starter with firm understanding of the marketing communications mix, who works well in a group and under pressure managing a variety of projects in parallel. Candidate must be able to lead by influence at and above peer level. Candidate will be well organized and results-oriented. Position requires learning issues quickly and identifies compelling themes.
Skills Required:
- 7+ years of Marcom Project Management experience
- Strong business, communications, project management and operational skills
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills
- Superior interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skills
- Typically requires BS/BA degree or equivalent
Responsibilities:
- Develop communication strategy to execute against business objectives
- Work independently to create/leverage marketing relationships with key stakeholders
- Develop "trusted advisor" relationship with sponsor teams
- Ability to manage the work of external agencies and vendors
- Synthesize messages from multiple sources and make relevant for target audiences
- Ability to negotiate and influence actions of team members outside team
- Ability to resolve conflicts
- Ability to identify, prioritize and deliver tangible results using sound business practices
- Ability to innovate and define new tools and practices
