Title: Data Analyst
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: Contract
Channels Business Intelligence team is in the process of migrating data between databases and setting up standard dashboard. We are seeking a temporary candidate to support the team with testing. Work will include running queries from business objects and working with data in excel, comparing sets of data for data accuracy as well as supporting reporting template creation.
Skills Desired
- Capable of working with teams and commit to deadlines, fostering a positive work environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to actively manage competing deliverables to meet business commitments and partners´ expectations
- Strong team player, capable of dealing with complex issues
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required
- Proficiency in Business Objects preferred
Tools Used:
- Excel: Expert level. (someone who can use, modify, and develop complex spreadsheets. Management of large amounts of data is a must as well as the ability to summarize it in a clean and impactful chart format)
- Business Objects: Intermediate - numerous queries already exist, however it will be required to update and manipulate for more granular analysis
Education/Experience:
- BS degree and 4 years of related experience or CPA/MBA and 2 years of related experience or 6 years of relevant experience.
