The Sage Group is looking for an exceptional Director of Lead Generation who can lead this early stage company, with an exclusive financial tool, to further develop their marketing initiatives focused on the SMB market. This is an opportunity for someone to create a lead generation program and to help launch a great company and a great product.


Key Responsibilities:

Lead demand generation planning efforts for the SMB business unit, including helping to form new lead generations programs, meeting new and nurtured lead generation goals and forecasts, driving new lead generation partnerships and managing within budget.
Develop integrated and iterative campaign strategy and plans, outlining key marketing themes, messages, content, and offers throughout the year.
Manage the execution of the marketing programs to achieve marketing qualified lead and pipeline targets.
Analyze performance against acquisition and conversion goals, help determine why programs failed or were successful, and continually make and implement recommendations for optimization.
Manage the automated nurture program currently in place for SMB, establish a process to evaluate and improve nurtures, and continuously test and optimize nurture performance.
Lead and manage a direct report team of marketing managers and external vendors to accomplish goals.


Education, Experience & Training required:

Bachelor�s degree required, MBA preferred
10+ years in Marketing, Product/Program Management, Product Marketing roles
5+ years Management experience
Experience in marketing to small and mid-sized businesses
Relevant experience in marketing automation (Marketo strongly preferred) dynamic lead scoring, and multi-track nurturing in a demand funnel framework that incorporates both free trials and inquiries.
Proven experience with digital marketing including advertising, SEO and SEM.
Track record of building and driving successful marketing strategies, plans, and results in an environment tightly aligned with sales
