Senior Cloud Computing System Architect
This opening is for Huawei's technology planning department which oversee company's long term key technology strategy and investment. Your responsibility includes; identifying the key technologies in the cloud computing infrastructure, software defined network, network operating system and big data, fast protyping the proof of concept for product line, leading the technology development charter and working with the company's technology management team on the key investment decisions.
You will be working with domain experts from the company's global R&D center and also the chief architect of the product line to set company's technology development and investment strategy.
- observing and analyzing of technology trends in the key areas and periodically
updating the report to the VP of technology planning
- supporting the company's annual strategy and business planning in key technology areas
- leading the key technology development charter of the domain area
- prototype the PoC to validate the value of the disruptive technology or innovative
algorithms/framework/software development tools
- supports product lines adoption and utilization of the key open source project
Requirements;
10+ years of software development experiences with a solid networking, distributed computing product development background, people with major web technology company experience are preferred;
- hands on programming skills with C/C+, Java, Ruby, Python, HTML
- good understanding and expertise with the IaaS, PaaS services such as Amazon
AWS, Openstack, Heroku, Openshift
- in depth knowledge of the distributed software architecture and product development
experience including; the system provisioning/configuration, application automatic
deployment, database partition/sharding, message queue, work scheduler,
performance monitoring
- fast learner and demonstrated capability of fast prototyping of cloud applications
