Telesales Representatives
Using scripts, product knowledge and communications skills, telesales representatives are required to generate sales and interest. They must work to engage the customer and ask questions that keep the conversation going. They are required to make the initial contact and hand the prospect off once interest is established or an appointment is made. Quotas are set which require a telesales rep to make a specified number of calls.

Responsibilities
 Contact businesses by telephone and deliver prepared sales talks, reading from scripts that describe services, in order to persuade potential customers to meet with Sales Directors.
 Explain services and answer questions from customers.
 Obtain customer information such as name, address, IT landscape and enter data into/update data in a CRM system
 Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of specific individuals/businesses
 Telephone or send emails to prospects or follow up initial sales contacts.
 Maintain records of Contacts, Accounts and Leads
 Schedule appointments for sales representatives to meet with prospective customers or for customers to attend sales presentations
 Conduct client or market surveys in order to obtain information about potential customers.

Skills
Telesales representatives must have excellent communication skills, including a clear, confident speaking voice and a friendly rapport with customers. While they may work from a script, telesales reps must also have the ability to be flexible and creative in dealing with customers. They must represent the company in a positive light at all times must be persuasive and highly motivated to make sales. Since it is often necessary to establish a relationship with a client before a successful sale, they must also be patient and persistent.
Telesales representatives are required to input sales data into CRM System while on the telephone with a customer, so keyboarding skills are required.
