 WebCenter Developer

This individual will be responsible for both defining and developing new concepts and features for our client utilizing Oracle WebCenter Portal. You’ll join a team of experienced developers and architects to work on client projects in Baltimore area. In depth knowledge and expertise with Java/J2EE development, portal and portlet development tools and technologies such as Java Server Faces (JSF), Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF), mobile, flexible and responsive design and open source frameworks will be necessary to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·         Must be able to work in a fast paced agile development environment, providing support to clients by developing solutions to maintain and enhance existing production systems and facilitate new project development.

·         Ability to analyze product requirements, and work with development team to build the appropriate application in support of the business requirements.

·         Ability to isolate problems, document bugs, regress and close issues while working on particular application releases.

·         Ability to manage source code changes effectively using source control tools.

·         Proactively solve problems, suggest process improvements, identify risks, and recommend actions to mitigate risks.

·         Ability to both work independently as well as within a team

·         Ability to follow directions, take ownership and meet deliverable timelines

Technical Experience Requirements:

§  Experience as a Technical Architect for large and complex WebCenter Content implementations 

§  Experience with WebCenter Portal 11g development and deployment using ADF

§  Experience implementing Oracle WebCenter Content solutions (Universal Content Management, Document Management, Digital Asset Management, Retention Management, Web Content Management, Conversion Services).

§  Experience with Taxonomy, navigation, metadata and enterprise search design/implementation Experience implementing and managing large-scale unstructured content management systems

§  Experience in Java/J2EE development, with a strong skills in developing web-based applications using AJAX/JQuery/JSON, JSF and Struts.

§  Portal Design and development experience with Oracle WebCenter, ADF/WebCenter development experience

§  Provide technical solutions to improve management of the customer’s content, including search, indexing, categorization, etc.

§  Provide direction to the customization and simplification of the system's security model per the client's requirements and constraints

§  Establish best practices and guidance for the use of technologies and toolsets relating to content management

§  Must understand the enterprise level application needs, specific to content management

§  Demonstrates strong command of Java development best practices and design patterns

§  Experience as a Java Developer in Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) 11g and WebCenter Portal 11g

§  WebLogic configuration/installation/deployment experience

§  Integrating WebCenter portal application with WebCenter content

§  Fusion BPM Suite support experience including (BPA, BPEL, BAM)

§  Oracle BPEL Process Manager- BPEL PM 11g

§  Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
