Assistant Controller Position with Accountants One - Greenville North Carolina(near Wake Forest)
Accountants One has been hired to find a Assistant Controller near Greenville, NC. The Assistant Controller is responsible for supporting the Controller & CFO in all areas relating to financial reporting and accounting operations. This will include developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements; developing and maintaining training manuals; assist in cross training team members; and assist in training project field team members.
Education
BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting
Technical Skills and Prior Experience
Ten or more years prior experience in the financial reporting/general ledger area
CPA strongly preferred or CPA candidate
Experience working in a construction environment is preferred
Must be PC proficient with advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills; Experience with an ERP system required preferably Viewpoint Construction Software
Crystal Report design and writing skills a strong plus
