Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is hiring a full time Product Marketing Manager Consultant for our client, Google, located in Mt. View, CA. This role offers a unique opportunity to make your mark on Google's next major business and be at the forefront of digital marketing. Using your B2B skills in a start-up environment, you�ll create awareness, educate and activate for large advertisers about Google's Brand Display solutions.
The Product Marketing Manager will drive Google's Brand Display positioning and voice at all levels of the organization, develop communications plans to engage and educate, manage programs, and produce creative ways to "bring to life" Google's brand solutions. You will also be a close partner to Google's Sales Organization and Product Management teams to develop and execute marketing programs that establish fresh thinking in the industry, reach new clients, and deepen engagement with existing clients. Ultimately, your job is to help translate the potential of Brand Display to large advertisers, increasing revenue and help grow Google's Brand Display share of the advertising market. The ideal consultant is strategic, innovative, highly adaptive/agile and able to diplomatically drive to results.
Responsibilities:
* Lead large advertiser programs, communication planning and marketing campaigns to drive brand display business growth
* Develop thought-leadership materials, sales collateral, case studies and other content designed to accelerate display business momentum and better engage brand customers
* Coordinate appropriately across direct sales, product marketing, and research to ensure that campaigns reach target audiences through all appropriate touch points
Skills:
* 7-15 years' experience in media and/or technology marketing in a leading media and/or consumer technology company, ideally with an emphasis on B2B marketing
* Solid product marketing and management experience, some international experience preferred
* Superior business sense, problem solving, project management and analytical skills
* Proven track record of results, demonstrated accountability for achieving individual and shared goals
* Creativity to bring fresh ideas into solution positioning and marketing campaigns
* Superior project and budget management skills, illustrated by strong track record of working in cross-functional environments
* Outstanding communication skills; ability to translate complexity into simple and intuitive language
* Proven ability to manage teams and lead multiple projects in a dynamic and cross-functional environment. Strong attention to detail
* Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
* BA/BA degree or equivalent required (MBA preferred)
Rate: D.O.E. as a w2 employee of Crawford Group
Location: Onsite daily at client office in Mt. View, CA. Local, S.F. Bay Area residents only. No phone calls, please.
Hours/Duration: Full time consulting, ASAP - up to 6 months
