Our client, Availity, LLC (www.availity.com) is a growing, national leader in health care technology.

The company offers physicians and health care providers a single destination for processing patient claims and payments, information for health care plans, and health care management services.

 

Reporting to the Director, Total Rewards and offering career potential, the Compensation & Benefits Manager will develop and lead key projects in the design and administration of a broad spectrum of compensation and benefits programs.

 

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or other related field,

advanced degree and/or SPHR/CCP preferred,

and solid compensation skills complemented by an understanding of employee benefit programs and HRIS applications.

 

Candidates should have the following:

• Eight years compensation functional experience, including plan design, market pricing, structure, ranges, plan administration, midpoint control, surveys, job descriptions, evaluation systems and incentive plans

Experience working with management to establish pay initiatives/reward plans that will drive business strategy

• Experience managing employee benefit plan administration, vendors and annual benefit enrollment programs

• Understanding of HRIS and applications relative to performance management, compensation administration, succession planning and general reporting requirements

• Financial acumen, analytical skills and ability to develop costing analysis modeling

• Strategic mindset to assist in the development and communication of total reward programs to drive employee performance and ensure employee retention 

 

This is a hands-on role in which the person will need to balance plan design with the day-to-day aspects of the role.

Of utmost importance will be the candidate’s ability to work in a lean organization, function as a business partner, and

demonstrate flexibility and influence to design/develop and deliver programs to meet the changing business requirements.
