The Sage Group is looking for a Sr. Event Communications and Marketing Manager for a leading virtualization software company located on the Peninsula. This position will be responsible for strategic corporate marketing even communications to drive awareness and attendance to their global events.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and execute all event direct-response email and social media campaigns.
- Create and drive the internal communication plan, pre-event and event emails from CMO to all internal employees.
- Drive ongoing event overviews for key stakeholders.
- Partner with social media team and corporate events team.
- Drive all related marketing project and manage campaign development cycle form beginning to end.
- Work with internal creative teams and agency on effective communications.
- Ability to drive registration.
- Create post-event follow up and measurements of success.
Skills Required:
- Minimum 5-8 years' experience developing marketing programs for conference, events, and/or seminars in a software environment
- Ability to drive and develop an overall marketing communication program from inception along with a proven track record of success developing program deliverables and briefs
- Analytical and results oriented
- Ability to multi task and proactively project manage
- Outstanding team player with superior communication skills, both written and verbal
- Undergraduate degree a must.
Timing: 4+ months
Start: 10/1/13
Location: San Francisco or Palo Alto Office, ability to work remote after 90 days.
