Overview: Talent Impact is seeking a full time Senior Curriculum Developer with deep experience building training curriculums and course materials for complex software solutions.
The Senior Curriculum Developer should be a self-starter, able to build world class training programs with limited supervision.
Responsibilities:
� Develop self-paced training modules and courses, learning guides, interactive Live Online training, and live classroom training for administrators, developers, employees, and partners.
� Lead and manage instructional design and curriculum development activities, applying agile instructional design methodology to all designed courseware
� Work with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts, to develop course specifications and gather course content
� Interface with customers, partners, employees, and the client's community as a subject matter expert
� Conduct train-the-trainer, knowledge transfer, and delta-training sessions for employees, customers, and partners
� Interface with our client's engineering team to develop training alongside product development lifecycle so that courses are available at or near product launch
� Provide analysis and feedback to engineering on product releases
� Participate in or manage curriculum reviews and edits
� Travel required: 10% Requirements:
� Experience scoping out training needs and then developing learning guides, self-paced training, and instructor-led training with participant and instructor guides that include slides, demonstrations, and hands-on labs/simulations
� Experience building out interactive self-paced eLearning, ideally using Oracle's User Productivity Kit
� Excellent project management skills
� Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; an excellent team player
� Excellent attention to detail, while keeping big picture focus
� Ability to ramp up quickly, then coordinate, prioritize, and accomplish tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with minimal supervision, working both independently and as a team member
� Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
� Versatility in presenting technical concepts to audiences with mixed capabilities
� A strong desire to help build a world-class training organization
� Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
� Initiative to recommend and implement program and process improvements and demonstrate creative thinking
� Prior experience using, managing or deploying Business Intelligence systems a definite advantage
� Exceptional computer skills
� MS Office, Camtasia, User Productivity Kit
� Experience with Learning Management Systems and Certification programs a plus
� Good speaking voice for recording eLearning audio is a plus
� Flexible, positive, can-do approach
� Dedication to quality and excellence, with a strong customer service focus
� 5+ years experience in developing software training
� Technical background: 4+ years web-based application development experience including:
Java/J2EE technology and web applications (servlets, JSPs)
General web technologies including Javascript, HTML, DHTML, XML Report design development experience a plus
Demonstrated ability to write SQL queries and database stored procedures Relational database design RDBMS administration with a common database (Oracle, DB2, MySQL, MS SQLServer)
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data mart design
Data cube development experience a plus Operating system administration (Linux, Unix, Windows) Web Application
Server administration with a common server (WebSphere, Weblogic, Tomcat, Apache, JBoss)
� BS Degree in a technical or related field, or equivalent experience
