Absolutely Required: Strong pl/sql, Pro*c, and Oracle Forms
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science or a minimum of 5 years experience in the field is required
- A minimum of 5 years of software development experience (past or present)
- Strong Experience with Pro*C, PL/SQL
- Experience with Oracle Forms (Strongly Desired)
- Experience with a relational database query language such as Oracle SQL
- UNIX (Solaris)
- Shell Programming (C-shell, KORN Shell) and PERL
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Object Oriented Development background in C/C++ development is strongly desired
- SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
- Design experience
Responsibilities:
- Both Maintenance Development AND New Development of Pro*C and PL/SQL based applications
- Follows SDLC as key portions of the software development lifecycle
- The majority of this role will concentrate on development and support of functionality within the core applications for the FASCore retirement plan record keeping system
- Must be willing to participate in team production support on-call responsibilities as well as development on team maintenance tasks.
- Must be willing to act as a Work Manager (project management)
