Facilities Support II – Contract Opportunity
Alameda, CA
Wind River Systems, an Intel company, has an opportunity for a Facilities professional in Alameda.
Responsibilities Include:
- Reception coverage during breaks and vacation
- Performing light maintenance, light electrical and light carpentry
- Supporting internal security functions
- Assist with meeting room set ups and coordination
- Move office furniture and equipment as required. Support weekly internal moves
- Heavy work, frequently lifting/carrying of objects up to 25 lbs. Record and maintain logs, files, schedules appointments, and service requests (CSR's)
- Core shift hours will be 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday
This hire may be required to be available for quick response to all building related emergencies and be available to work overtime, 24/7 on call rotation. Ability to work under minimal supervision required. Willingness to assist and/or cover other facilities related functions. Flexibility a must as priorities can and will change. Occasionally may require driving in company provided vehicle.
Requirements:
- Must be customer service oriented with good communication skills. Prefer experience with software industry type environment.
- Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.
- Normally receives general instructions on routine work, general instructions on new assignments.
- Experience in the facilities and/or maintenance trades, or related fields a plus. Knowledge and safe use of hand and power tools a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication, and utilization of measuring devices required.
- Ability to communicate ideas along with basic problem solving skills.
- High School or equivalent G.E.D. diploma.
- Valid CA Driver's License.
