Wind River Systems, an Intel company, has an opportunity for a talented Senior Accounting Manager who is a self-starter, detail-oriented, highly motivated and experienced in all aspects of accounting and auditing. This position will be responsible for managing month-end close and reconciliations, local GAAP to US GAAP adjustments, local statutory audits and tax preparations for all APAC entities (China, Korea, Singapore, India, Taiwan and Hong Kong). Responsibilities include managing an accounting team at our U.S. Headquarters and a team in China as well as managing the relationship with our local third party accounting and tax service providers. This role will report to the Controller.
Responsibilities:
•Ensure compliance with US GAAP, local GAAP and local tax regulations.
•Manage the month-end close and local GAAP to US GAAP adjustment and reconciliations.
•Enforce regional financial policies and procedures in line with the group direction and establish strong internal controls and business governance.
•Perform financial statements analytics and provide relevant explanations for fluctuations
•Assist with quarterly review and internal audits, including updating internal key control documents, preparation of supporting schedules and financial reports related to areas of responsibility.
•Manage the annual statutory audits and liaison with accounting firms and external audit firms.
•Manage regional bank relationships and all tax related issues.
•Coach and develop the team to improve the competency of the team
•Work with HR, legal, IT and business teams on other special projects to support APAC, as needed
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting
•Certified public accountant with 8-10 years of experience in a similar role
•Must have experience using Oracle
•Working experience in both CPA firm and industry
•Excellent organizational and communication skills
•Excellent written and spoken in English and Chinese
•Must have attention to detail and sound analytical skills, ability to interpret/communicate financial information.
•Team-oriented and flexible
•Must be available for evening calls with the local APAC team
•Must work well under pressure and be good at meeting deadlines
•Solid understanding of US GAAP and knowledge on IFRS
•Ability to work under stress and high pressure environment
