COMMUNICATION SPECIALIST
Part-Time position
CAIS accredited, PK – 8th grade, French bilingual, East Bay independent school, over 520 students total, seeks a part-time communication specialist, beginning Mai 2015.
The Communications Specialist provides communication support to all department of the school, and reports directly to the Enrollment and Outreach Director. S/He is responsible for implementing communications and marketing strategies for EB, and works to generate a positive awareness of EB's mission as directed by the Enrollment and Outreach Director.
Requirements and necessary skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications or related field required. Master's Degree in Communications or English a plus.
• Ability to understand, speak and write in French desirable.
• 3 to 5 years in Communications and in designing, composing, and editing written material for publications, online sites, and other types of media
• Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Passion for details, ability to prioritize workload and to work effectively with multiple demands in a bilingual and team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of print processes, content creation in Drupal or other CMS, SEO, SEA, Adobe Creative Suite, and mail services such as Constant Contact or MailChimp.
