The Sr. Systems Engineer may perform one or more of the following:
•Designs and implements system requirements for customers and analyzes existing systems.
•Plans and executes virtualization of legacy environments.
•Standup and maintenance of MS Domain and Active Directory structure and security
•Evaluates and translates customer/business requirements into scalable architecture.
•Scopes and installs SAN and NAS for large scale enterprise environments.
•Scopes and implements fax intake/output solutions for large scale enterprise environments.
•Evaluates and installs database management systems.
•Develops and implements monitoring for all systems and file stores.
•Tier 3 escalation point for incidents/outages
•All other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
•B.S. degree preferred or equivalent experience (recommend minimum of 5 years in enterprise environment).
•Sr. level systems architect experience is required
•Sr. level experience with Microsoft Active Directory through 2008 required
•Sr. level experience with VMware required
•Sr. level experience with NetApp or equivalent NAS storage required
•Sr. level experience with Xmedius or other enterprise fax solution recommended
•Sr. level experience with MS SQL load balancing recommended
•Ability to track and manage own projects
•Experience provisioning through cloud computing a plus.
