Job Description

Our client, an innovator in securing the mobile workforce, is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Identity and Workspace Solutions. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, this position will manage product marketing for the company's mobile digital identity and secure mobile workspace solutions. The position will report to the Director, Products and Solutions. The Senior Product Marketing Manager will focus on understanding the company's customers, using this knowledge to deliver a clear and influential message and communicate value to this group. The right candidate will be able to work autonomously as well as lead cross functional teams in a startup environment.

Primary Duties

• Act as the market expert for the portable identity and secure workspace solutions
• Work with Marcom to develop a strategic marketing plan to increase awareness of the product line
• Influence product requirements and the product roadmap
• Develop plans to acquire and retain customers
• Gather and analyze metrics on program effectiveness
• Launch products
• Establish the company as a thought leader in its industry
• Own and match the sales process to the customer's buying process
• Plan and develop channel training programs
• Create and deliver product and solution presentations
• Support Sales and the channel with product information
• Assist Marcom in planning and managing tradeshows and other events

Desired Skills and Experience

• 5+ years experience as a Product Marketing Manager
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, engineering, computer science or equivalent
• Experience with portable identity and secure workspace solutions. This is a MUST!
• Experience in the software industry with one or more areas: data security, USB products, digital identity technologies, VDI, virtual desktops and cloud computing. This is a MUST!
