DESCRIPTION
• Leads implementation of solutions or is the technical expert for one or more existing client solutions managing change in a production environment.
• Works with Business and IT Leadership to carry out technology initiatives within a large account.
• Responsible for providing architecture, design and implementation lifecycle support for application re-engineering & middleware integration needs across specific projects in a SOA environment.
• For Implementations, ensures individualized solution incorporates clients' and XXXX's overall business strategy and technical vision. Engages in all solution communications with client and engage in its progress throughout the implementation phase.
• Has ownership for the end-to-end solution design and implementation technical oversight through to transition into Production.
• For existing clients, activities are focused on client consulting for proposed changes, process improvements, issues or research of client data inquiries.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Implements solutions for application re-engineering and middleware architecture across heterogeneous platforms in
• accordance with defined standards (Talend/Datastage, JBoss ESB/BPM/SOA Suite, IBM Ilog BRMS, ActiveVOS, Apache
• Hadoop etc.)
• Responsible for leading mid-level to complex projects.
• Implements governance to ensure adherence to defined methodologies regarding Solutions and Service Oriented Architecture Development Lifecycles.
• Ensures individualized solution requirements and design incorporates Acxiom and client's overall solution vision.
• Engages in project communications with client using a consultative approach.
• Anticipates obstacles and recommends solution options.
• Focuses on client values and satisfaction while balancing corporate objectives, feasibility and scalability of solutions.
• Assists with technical and business stakeholder requirements and overall project plan.
• Assists in the evaluation of cost, scope, portability, compatibility and usability.
• Aids in risk mitigation assessment.
• Ensures data solution design fulfills functional and technical requirements and can consistently meet progress against service level agreements.
• Accountable for the accuracy, process, integrity, quality and stewardship of client solutions.
• Monitors implementation initial progress in order to stay abreast of possible issues and future challenges.
• Defines XXXX solution standards, estimates, processes, policies and procedures.
• Utilizes standard methodologies to promote consistency and drives adherence to standards within designated teams.
• Familiar with other department's methodologies including project management and development methodologies.
• Identifies areas of process improvement that drive profit enhancement.
• Consults, advises and educates management, affected teams and clients through communications at the appropriate technical granularity.
• Documents and shares best practices /case studies; incorporates lessons learned into estimates, standards and
• protocols.
• Provides feedback to the appropriate lines of business or product team to ensure XXXX produces and/or enhances
• products that can meet the ever changing business needs of our clients.
• Keeps informed and evaluates the latest industry news, trends, products, services, competitors and relevant existing and emerging technologies.
