FT/Perm Position – Network Engineer – Denver Tech Center
Are you a Network Engineer who is still willing to get his/her hands dirty and pull some cable when necessary? Do you want to design it? Built it and OWN IT? Like to get out of town for a couple of days a month?
Looking for a different kind of Network Systems Engineer…. Someone who still wants to DO things and not just build them.
Responsibilities:
* Support 40+ facilities throughout the Continental US (which may require roughly 10-15% travel).
* Perform troubleshooting analysis of servers, workstations and associated systems.
* Install, configure, maintain network services, equipment and devices.
* Monitors system performance and implements performance tuning.
* Requires proven experience/knowledge of networking essentials.
* Install all new hardware, systems and software for networks.
* Plans and supports network and computing infrastructure.
* Manage user email, accounts, permissions, anti-virus, etc.
* Manages all system back-up and restore activities.
* Oversee software and network security.
* Supports administration of servers.
* Documents network problems.
Technical Skills and Requirements:
* Certifications: MCSE, CCNA or CCNP required.
* Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar discipline.
* Networking: Switches, Routers, Hubs, Servers, Cables, Racks, etc.
* Firewalls, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, VoIP, QoS, MPLS.
* Systems: Windows, Cisco Systems, UNIX, Linux, Novell.
COMP: 70-95K+ (depending on years of RELEVANT experience, education, certifications, etc.) plus an aggressive benefits package which includes medical, dental, life, disability and vision insurance, 401K, and paid holidays and vacation time.
