So, what will you do?

The Senior Manager of Public Relations will report to the VP of Marketing & Communications. In this role, you will direct and manage all public and media relations for IMVU, while working to establish the IMVU brand as the industry leader in the next wave of social gaming.

Responsibilities:

Consumer Awareness: Elevate consumer perception of IMVU, driving wide reaching awareness and adoption while leveraging consumer data and market trends to establish IMVU as the next global leader in online social games.
Media Relations: Build and manage day-to-day relations with consumer journalists, bloggers, analysis, community and industry influencers.
Marketing Campaigns: Collaborate with VP to develop and maintain media and consumer campaigns applying geo targeted PR and entire media messaging.
Strategic Planning: Develop a monthly calendar of pitch topics that connect to current news and industry trends.
Business Analytics: Conduct on-going analyses and measurement of Brand Marketing performance using data to continually optimize in a rapidly changing environment.

Requirements:

8-12 years management experience in a corporate public relations capacity and/or relevant agency experience.
Proven record successfully building both consumer awareness and corporate product presence.
Experience streamlining PR processes using associated systems to enhance productivity, effectiveness and efficiency of operations.
A strategic and analytical approach to public relations employing the latest technology, planning and performance measures.
Experience managing teams and working cross-functionally with officers, product owners, and analysts (both internally and externally).
Existing relationships with relevant media, consumer outlets and influencers, both industry/trade and business.
Strong written, communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong project management skills with an ability to prioritizing and managing multiple projects on deadline
Positive can-do attitude and sense of humor A MUST.

Bonus Points:

Bachelor's degree in English, Advertising, Communications, Marketing or Journalism.
Experience with gaming, social media and/or Internet technologies.
Demonstrated desire and interest to work in the social gaming space.
Experience with mobile industry (games, other).
