Summary

  

Strategic R&D Planning Department at Samsung Information Systems America (Samsung Electronics US R&D Center) located in San Jose, California is currently looking for Project Coordinator to support R&D project management and operation management.


Common Essential
Duties & Resp.

  

- Project Management 
o Conduct central monitoring of project execution progress and identify any issues 
o Work with various groups within the organization to deploy corporate project management system 
o Provide user support on project management system usage and project operation guidance 
o Support with annual project plan setup activities 
o Develop and improve project operation policies and procedures 
- Operation Management 
o Work with labs to collect key metrics and periodic reports, prepare weekly and monthly reports for management reporting and ensure on-time distribution of reports 
o Interface with headquarters on various reporting requests 
o Develop corporate presentation materials as needed


Necessary Skills /
Attributes

  

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field 
- 2+ years of professional experience in high-tech industry preferred 
- Excellent communication and analytical skills with proactive attitude & outgoing personality 
- Ability to multi-task in an innovative and fast-paced environment 
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially with in-depth knowledge of PowerPoint 
- Understanding of Korean culture and language is a plus
