Symantec is looking for an online marketing professional responsible for developing, tracking, analyzing and optimizing eCommerce campaigns for the Global Consumer Business Unit.
This position is a long-term contract position, and is 40 hours per week. This position is located in our Mountain View, CA office.
Job Description:
- Part of a larger team managing global online marketing programs
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of marketing campaigns
- Able to implement, conduct and analyze marketing programs and testing
- Responsible for management/maintenance of internal product lists, data feeds, link creation
- Ensure budget, ROI, revenue, and other business goals are met per project
- Develop and maintain detailed reporting of programs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Work with third-party vendor teams to ensure optimization and performance are on track
- Management and development of optimization tests using Omniture Test&Target
- Reporting and analytics through Business Objects and Omniture
- Collaborate with the internal marketing channels to exchange data observations & learnings
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years experience within an eCommerce/Online Marketing organization
- Ideal candidate also has 1-2 years hands-on experience with large-scale affiliate marketing
- Highly experienced with web analytics tools, preferably Omniture
- **Advanced Excel skills required, including pivot tables**
- High energy and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
- Highly analytical, yet creative, detail oriented, organized, good team player
- Education: BA/BS with a strong quantitative background preferred
The position is about 20% operational, with the rest of the time being program management related. Requires a detail oriented self-starter who is driven and passionate about eCommerce and online business. Position available immediately.
