Responsibilities
- Prospecting into Fortune 2000 with the ability to navigate multiple stakeholders
- Generate sales leads, actively prospect new business and maximize opportunities within current client base
- Develop and cultivate relationships with client senior executives at SVP, VP, Director and CISO levels
- Develop sales strategies with management team to increase market penetration
- Responsible for software license and software maintenance sales
- Manage sales pipeline and provide timely and accurate sales forecast reports
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge of software products
- Perform sales presentations/demonstrations to match products with identified needs
- Collaborate with partner organizations (consultancy firms and product partners)
- Negotiate and close sales must be able to move deals from inception to close
Qualifications
- Software Sales Executive should have 5+ years experience or Account Manager Specialist should have at least 2+ years of successful software sales experience and quota achievement
- Preferable, candidates will have sold solutions into the Microsoft Infrastructure space
- Knowledge of OS & Application Management tools a plus
- Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory. Knowledge of SharePoint and the security software market preferred
- 3-5 years negotiating supplier contracts and supplier management
- Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
