Security Software Sales Manager - Northwest


TERRITORY: Northern California, Seattle, Idaho, Montana, Australia and Asia-Pacific

THE JOB
We have an immediate opening for a hunter-type sales professional with enterprise sales skills in the network security and/or configuration compliance market. A proven track record and history of success is mandatory, as is customer commitment and employment stability. We seek a successful technology sales person to cover the marketplace in the Northwest, *Australia and *Asia Pacific (*note: travel outside the US will be only 2-4 times per year). This position will have a specific focus in promoting and selling advanced agentless solutions focusing on Configuration and Compliance, Vulnerability/Risk Management, and Security Information Management.

Reporting to the Director of North American Sales, you will be responsible for selling enterprise-wide security, configuration and compliance, and SW/HW solutions to C-level management.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Proven record of consistently exceeding quota.
• Must be tenacious and success-oriented, a self-starter with high energy.
• Experience selling in this geographic territory. This is a must.
• 5-7 years' experience selling network security solutions. This is a must.
• 5-7 years' experience selling systems and networking solutions.
• Experience selling networking products to C-level executives in Global 2000 accounts.
• Experience selling through a channel.
• Experience with and the ability to demonstrate consultative solutions selling.
• Strong business, communications and information technology knowledge.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply technical knowledge relating to company and competitor's offerings.
• Experience using Salesforce.com highly desirable.
• Experience in Australia and Asia Pacific a plus
• Ability to travel at least 50% including internationally.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, fast-growth environment where action and initiative are prerequisites to performing well.

Preferred base is Seattle or northern California. Relo assistance is NOT offered.

Compensation = $120k base plus commission plus accelerators; reasonable first year 0TE $275k
