Job Title Sr. Financial Analyst
Duties
To review, analyze and perform all duties required to effectively monitor complex revenues, margins, and expenses for base cost . Participates in projects to improve the operational and financial effectiveness of the segments . Extracts financial data from various accounting and information systems. Performs statistical, cost, and financial analysis of data reported in the various financial systems. Utilizes a knowledge of the company´s financial systems, such as Hyperion, Cognos and JDE. Assists in the analysis of financial data and extracts and defines relevant information; interprets data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial probability. Assists in preparing corporate reports and requirements including revenue and margin forecast, and base cost forecasting. Reviews costs and performs cost benefit analysis related to projects and/or programs. Develops financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis, interprets financial results. Uses various software applications, such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of company employees.
Skills:
This position interacts with varying levels of personnel requiring the ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing HR and Recruiting policies and programs and the interpretation of them. Effectiveness in this role requires a functional knowledge of corporate operations and product line.. Accuracy is required in performing all functions of this position; mistakes in work could cause substantial data errors and financial loss.
