Our client is a well established, global software company with a history of providing a variety of software solutions to companies throughout the world. We are currently seeking an aggressive, talented candidate with recent and proven successful software sales experience selling business infrastructure/middleware solutions such as SOA, BPM, integration, etc. into large accounts in the Bay area/Northern California region for this exciting opportunity:



Position title: Account Executive
Location: Bay area, California



Position description:

We are seeking a candidate with a recent and proven track record of selling business infrastructure/middleware software solutions to customers in the geographic region. The successful candidate will acquire expertise in a number of different technology areas and be able to use this knowledge to present solutions to these new customers. This is a role selling into a group of targeted new and existing accounts throughout the geographic territory.


Required skills:

5+ years prior experience selling software based solutions into targeted accounts throughout the region.

Recent experience selling some business infrastructure/middleware-type software(SOA, BPM/business process management, integration/EAI, etc. is preferred.

Recent and proven success in meeting and exceeding quota

Ability to manage complex sales into large enterprises

An action and results-oriented approach which balance a "take charge" attitude with teamwork and collaboration. An ability to work with prospects to develop strong business solution cases coupled with solid closing skills.

Experience in teaming with systems integrators is also required. The successful candidate´s background will include having executed call plans, orchestrated account-planning sessions and effectively executed account strategies.

BA/BS degree and familiarity with internet technologies, web portal initiatives and integration platforms is required

Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills

Candidates of interest may be those with successful seeking backgrounds from companies such as Oracle, IBM, Sterling Commerce, TIBCO, Pegasystems, Progress Software, Informatica, Talend, iWay Software, etc. or any others in these areas
