Summary
Samsung's Mobile Lab, located in San Jose, California is designing and developing the mobile user and service experiences that will power future generations of mobile phones from Samsung. The Lab is currently recruiting world-class Program Managers who have the rare ability to enable diverse, cross-functional design and engineering teams to produce amazing results. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of enabling teams to deliver complex designs and concepts quickly and with high quality. You will help the teams not only align the "who" and the "when" of the project, but help also define "what" and "how" of the program.

Duties & Resp.
• Ideation: Work with a highly creative team where innovation is rewarded with opportunity to implement.
• Engage at an appropriate level of technical depth and acumen across a broad range of people, from UX designers to display engineers.
• Deal with ambiguity: Partner with teams to sort through the ambiguity of new concepts and identify what is truly important; separate the "could" from "should."
• Focus on user experience: Interact with designers at a deep level on Information Architecture, concept and scenario development, storyboarding design iteration.
• Internal sell-in: Work with necessary organizations to gain cross-company support and engagement.
• Resourcing: Make connections between individuals in labs and other organizations and leverage external partners when needed.
• Create and execute project work plans, track deliverables and manage day to day project execution.
• Document and track deliverables, specifications, status, work plans and schedules.
• Have the courage to be willing to make a proposal, take a stand or float an idea.
Necessary Skills /
Attributes
• 5-7 years of work experience in a program management capacity.
• 3-5 years experience delivering designs, specification and consumer electronics products.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Understanding of the mobile industry.
• Prior experience in development of mobile applications and services.
• Prior experience working with or in UX / UI & ID design disciplines.
• Bachelor's Degree in business or a technology field preferred.
• Very strong problem solving, analytical / critical thinking skills.
