We are looking for a Contract PM for Financial Restatements project at Bay area´s largest Networking company; per the following details:
Start: immediate ; URGENT Requirement
Location: Bay Area, California – Local candidates
Client: Large Networking firm
Terms: contract - W2 or Corp to Corp ; Attractive rates - long term contract
MUST HAVE:
• 10-15 years of Program Mgmt, business analysis and project lifecycle experience implementing enterprise wide Finance programs and systems with hands on Finance knowledge including:
o Experience collaborating and working directly with business users and exec stakeholders
o Strong written communication skills including, business and functional requirements, management level presentations and proposals
o Proven track record with various Finance groups, and liaison to IT to bring projects/programs to market on time and on budget
• Strong knowledge of financial terms and implications, and key processes - Strong knowledge about Revenue, COGS, Bookings, Gross Margin, P&L, etc and other Finance concepts.
• Strong knowledge about the Restatement process. (Bookings restatement, Revenue Restatement, P&L Restatement. (This project is about driving the end to end Restatement for FY13-14).
• Good understanding and exposure to enterprise-wide hierarchies (Product hierarchies, Dept. Hierarchies, P&L Hierarchies, Management hierarchies, etc. and their inter-dependencies and mappings.
• Must be able to drive an aggressive Program road-map and schedule to meet deliverables; Ability to drive the project forward with a sense of urgency
• Prior experience implementing and/or using Oracle Essbase and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) solutions a plus. BO a plus.
• Past consulting and or professional services experience is preferred
• Project life cycle systems implementation experience with Oracle ERP or other Finance systems a must.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in addition to the ability to deal effectively with ambiguity will also be critical
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS
• Self motivated, Fast paced, Driver: Looking for candidate with long term commitment.
Bachelor´s degree minimum in an area of Accounting, Finance or MIS; CPA or MBA preferred
