In this role, you will:
•Understand the needs of Elance users and develop innovative solutions that match the right clients with the right candidates and drive great engagement outcome
•Lead a cross-functional team to build a world-class search and hiring user experience
•Develop cutting-edge merchandising and matching technologies, in close collaboration with the engineering team and upper management
•Provide key contributions to product vision and company strategy while excelling in daily execution and attention to details
•Utilize refined communication and people skills to create consensus with all stakeholders
•Develop and manage key product metrics
•Drive improvements to product SOPs and implement best design and development practices
To win in this role, you need:
•Exceptional leadership and teamwork skills
•BS in Engineering or Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degrees are preferred.
•5+ years of experience as a Product Manager in the Internet e-commerce space
•Demonstrated experience in search, merchandising, recommendation, and other Internet products focusing on match and social media
•Intuitive sense for feature design and user requirements
•In-depth understanding of the architecture of complex and highly scalable web applications
•Entrepreneurial spirit that can thrive in a very fast-paced environment
